The National Leader of the Turkmen people congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the adoption of the UN Resolution


The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the President of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the good news received from the headquarters of the United Nations - the adoption of the Resolution “2025 - International Year of Peace and Trust” on the initiative of Turkmenistan during the 63rd plenary meeting of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.

“As You note, it is necessary to strictly follow the global initiative of Turkmenistan “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace” and purposefully implement it. Time has shown that this is true and reasonable. The neutral foreign policy of Turkmenistan is the path of peace, the path calling the peoples of the planet to friendship and brotherhood”, - the message says.

Using effective tools of multilateral diplomacy, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to cooperation in the areas of energy security, transport system, climate change, etc. The country’s efforts are widely supported by the countries of the world and authoritative international organizations. This is clearly evidenced by the numerous resolutions adopted at the proposal of our country by the UN General Assembly in recent years, which affect various areas of international interaction.

“On Your initiative, in the new historical period, Turkmenistan effectively cooperates with the UN on issues of education, science and culture on a systematic basis. In this regard, the inclusion of our country’s values in the Lists of this Organization further expands the scope of cooperation”, - the National Leader emphasized, wishing the President good health, long life and further success in his activities in the interests of the state, society and all humanity, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan
