Google Developer Groups techno-seminar was held in Ashgabat


On Sunday, February 4, the Google Developer Group in Ashgabat (GDG Ashgabat) organized a workshop on the developer opportunities provided by Google. Tech Talk (conversation about technology) was held within the walls of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and brought together practicing developers, students, representatives of business circles, and high school students of Turkmenistan. During the session, the organizers of GDG Ashgabat spoke about platforms and competitions from Google, which allow you to receive mentorship from the tech giant’s experts and a prize budget for the implementation of the project. A representative of Turkmenistan’s first Google Student Developers Club (GDSC IUHD) also made a presentation, telling visitors about the annual Solution Challenge project aimed at students. This year, for the first time, students of Turkmenistan had the opportunity to participate in this global competition and to raise awareness about the project and its requirements, representatives of GDG Ashgabat and GDSC IUHD recorded an interview with Kazakh student Madiyar Moldabaev, whose project was among the top 10 best solutions throughout to the world. At the end of the meeting, the invited speakers - Microsoft interns - told the audience about Google's artificial intelligence model - Gemini AI. In their presentation, they provided statistics and results of comparative tests of the Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT-4 models. The speakers also gave examples of using the AI ​​model in business, information technology, web development, and process automation.
