В Туркменистане продолжается прием заявок на ежегодный конкурс инновационных проектов и стартапов «Sanly çözgüt – 2026», направленный на поддержку молодых разработчиков, программистов и изобретателей. Участники могут представить свои цифровые решения по семи приоритетным направлениям, отвечающим задачам развития национальной экономики и цифровой трансформации страны.Конкурс проводится Министерством связи Туркменистана с 2020 года в рамках реализации Концепции развития цифровой экономики страны. Его главная цель — стимулировать молодежь к созданию современных программных продуктов, инновационных разработок и технологических решений.Традиционно участниками конкурса становятся школьники, студенты и молодые специалисты, представляющие собственные цифровые проекты. В этом году конкурс охватывает семь ключевых направлений: искусственный интеллект, робототехнику и автоматизацию, технологии «умного» сельского хозяйства, Smart City, цифровое образование и электронное обучение, цифровую медицину, а также современные сервисные решения.Представленные проекты будут оцениваться специализированной экспертной комиссией. Итоги конкурса и имена победителей объявят в торжественной обстановке в рамках международной выставки и научной конференции «Türkmentel – 2026», которые традиционно проходят в конце года.Заявки на участие принимаются в электронном формате через официальный портал telecom.tm, где молодые разработчики и авторы инновационных идей могут пройти регистрацию и представить свои проекты.
Turkmenistan announced the results of its transport and communications complex
A meeting was held yesterday in the administrative building of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan to summarize the work completed over the first seven months of this year.As noted, the growth rate of the volume of work performed and services rendered in the transport and communications sector amounted to 114%, according to the ministry's website.Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate of freight transportation by road, rail, air, sea and river transport reached 103,6%, and the growth rate of passenger transportation was 102,4%.The volume of services rendered by the Ministry of Railway Transport was fulfilled at 107%, by the Ministry of Automobile Transport - at 118,8%, by the State Service "Turkmenhowayollary" – 118,5%, by the State Service of Maritime and River Transport – 102,1%, and by the Ministry of Communications – 115,5%.

Были затронуты вопросы молодежной политики, особенности работы гражданской авиации и организации воздушного движения, развитие цифровой экономики и государственных программ в этой сфере, а также вопросы кадрового обеспечения транспортной отрасли.Отдельное внимание было уделено медийному освещению достижений страны, развитию информационных технологий и подготовке кадров в этой сфере, а также техническим аспектам организации движения на железнодорожном транспорте.По итогам конференции участники отметили, что подобные мероприятия способствуют более широкому осознанию значения Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана как важнейшего общественно-политического института страны и площадки для обсуждения перспектив ее развития.
Turkmenistan's Minister of Communications spoke at an AI conference in Shanghai
At the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence (WAIC 2026), held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20, Turkmenistan's Minister of Communications, Hajymyrat Hudaygulyev, announced that the country is actively working on a National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. The document will serve as the foundation for innovation, personnel training, and the development of scientific research.Speaking at a forum dedicated to the topic "Partnership in Artificial Intelligence for a Brighter Future," Hudaygulyev noted that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the country is consistently implementing a state policy of digital transformation: modernizing infrastructure, developing the digital economy, and improving the regulatory framework.According to the Minister, the Strategy being developed places particular emphasis on issues of security, ethics, personal data protection, and algorithmic transparency in accordance with international standards. He emphasized that the implementation of artificial intelligence opens up significant prospects for the modernization of healthcare, education, and transport, as well as for the rational use of water resources and environmental protection.Hudaygulyev stated Turkmenistan's readiness to actively engage with interested partners in developing digital infrastructure, creating modern data centers, implementing joint scientific initiatives, and promoting the responsible, safe, and ethical use of AI technologies."The future of artificial intelligence must be built on partnership and shared responsibility. Only by combining the efforts of governments, science, and business can we harness technology for the benefit of humanity and strengthen peace and security," the minister emphasized, expressing gratitude to the Chinese government for organizing the forum.
Turkmenistan participates in the World Conference on AI in Shanghai
The World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026) and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of AI will be held in Shanghai, China, from July 17 to 20, 2026. A representative delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the country's Minister of Communications, Hajymyrat Hudaygulyev, is participating in the forum, which is being held under the motto "AI Partnership for a Brighter Future." Shanghai has once again become a center of attraction for global technological thought. The scale of this year's conference surpassed that of previous years: the exhibition space exceeded 100 thousand square meters, and over 1100 leading companies and approximately 1400 speakers, scientists, and government officials from around the world are participating in the forum. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. The participation of the Turkmen delegation at the leadership level of the relevant ministry is regarded as a consistent step in the implementation of the state digitalization strategy."The development of artificial intelligence is considered one of the key strategic priorities at the infrastructure level in our country," the Turkmen delegation noted.
В Туркменистане появятся новые специальности по искусственному интеллекту
В Туркменистане в 2026–2027 учебном году в высших учебных заведениях страны откроются новые специальности и направления подготовки, сообщает газета «Türkmenistan».Согласно опубликованному в издании интервью, в Международном университете предпринимателей и бизнесменов по программе бакалавриата откроется направление подготовки «Искусственный интеллект и экспертные системы». Кроме того, в Политехническом среднем специальном учебном заведении Министерства связи Туркменистана появится новая специальность «Искусственный интеллект и анализ данных».Как отмечается, решение об открытии новых направлений принято с учётом растущего экономического потенциала Туркменистана и потребности в квалифицированных кадрах по различным профилям. Всего в предстоящем учебном году в вузах страны откроется 20 новых специальностей и направлений подготовки.

Министерство связи Туркменистана организовало культурное мероприятие для детей, отдыхающих в детском оздоровительном центре «Демирёлчи», расположенном в живописном Гёкдеринском ущелье. Сегодня, 9 июля, перед юными отдыхающими выступили артисты Государственного цирка Туркменистана, представившие новые сценические номера.Выступление артистов произвело на детей большое впечатление и подарило им множество ярких эмоций. Веселые сценки, показанные цирковыми исполнителями, наполнили атмосферу праздника радостью и хорошим настроением. Дети также с интересом приняли участие в играх и конкурсах, организованных артистами. В Туркменистане стартовал приём заявок на конкурс «Цифровое решение — 2026»
Министерство связи Туркменистана объявило о начале конкурса инновационных проектов «Цифровое решение — 2026», призванного выявить и поддержать молодых разработчиков программного обеспечения и стартап-инициативы в сфере цифровой экономики страны. Приём документов от участников продлится до 1 октября 2026 года, а итоги конкурса подведут в рамках международной выставки и научной конференции «Туркментел — 2026» на территории Торгово-промышленной палаты в Ашхабаде.Конкурс проводится в соответствии с утверждённой Концепцией развития цифровой экономики Туркменистана на 2026–2028 годы и направлен на подготовку квалифицированных IT-специалистов, а также на запуск новых стартапов в сфере цифровизации.Участвовать в конкурсе можно как индивидуально, так и в составе команды численностью не более трёх человек с обязательным назначением руководителя. К оценке допускаются веб-сервисы, а также программные продукты для компьютеров и мобильных устройств, при этом авторы обязаны предоставить сведения о кибербезопасности разработки и указать сроки защиты интеллектуальной собственности. Наличие исходного кода программного обеспечения является обязательным требованием.Проекты будут рассматриваться по семи направлениям: искусственный интеллект, робототехника и автоматизация, технологии для сельского хозяйства, «умный город», образование и электронное обучение, цифровая медицина, а также сфера услуг. Для оценки заявок будет создана временная экспертная комиссия под общим руководством Министерства связи.Победители в каждой номинации — призёры первого, второго и третьего мест — получат ценные подарки и дипломы. Turkmenistan plans to implement 5G technologies across all sectors of the economy
Today, Turkmenistan is taking the necessary measures to extend 5G technology to all sectors of the economy, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.Specific tasks regarding the widespread implementation of modern information and communication systems and the effective utilization of 5G and artificial intelligence capabilities are outlined in the "Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2026–2028."Their solution focuses on comprehensive digitalization, the development of a national AI strategy, the application of AI technologies across various sectors, and the training and continuous professional development of specialists in the field.Exploring the capabilities of 5G networks, integrating them into the operations of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Communications, and actively utilizing them across other sectors have been identified as priority tasks. The benefits of deploying this technology have been practically demonstrated in the city of Arkadag.Compared to 4G, 5G offers ten times the bandwidth. This new technology holds great promise for applications in industry, healthcare, education, and other sectors; it creates opportunities to optimize process and software management via digital systems and enables seamless high-speed Internet access with thousands of devices connected simultaneously.Favorable conditions are currently emerging to stimulate technological progress and advance it to a qualitatively new level, as well as to expand the range of electronic services—notably through the new e-SIM (virtual SIM card) service.Upon arrival in Turkmenistan, foreign nationals can seamlessly connect to the Internet using this mobile application without needing to purchase SIM cards from the national mobile operator. The President of Turkmenistan has approved holding the "Digital Solution – 2026" contest
Preparations are underway in Turkmenistan to launch the "Digital Solution – 2026" innovative projects competition. Deputy Prime Minister B. Annaev reported on this during a government meeting, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.As reported, the aim of the contest is to identify young people engaged in software development and innovative activities.It will cover categories such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Automation, Digital Medicine, Education and E-learning, Smart City, Smart Agricultural Technologies, and Service Systems.The results of the competition will be announced during the "Türkmentel – 2026" international exhibition and scientific conference.The projects to be presented at the competition are intended for use in the implementation of the digital economy, as well as in the production cycles of various industries.In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a relevant proposal for the Head of State's consideration.After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that targeted efforts to develop the digital economy are being carried out in the country, and that young people are actively participating in showcases of innovative projects held in this field. Having approved the proposal to announce the "Digital Solution – 2026" contest, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work.
