The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan organized a presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s book “Youth – the Support of the Motherland” in Islamabad with the participation of representatives of the Afghan Turkmen diaspora, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The event was also timed to coincide with the announcement of 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi.”
In their speeches at the event, the participants emphasized that the book by the head of the Turkmen state is intended to become a reference manual for the current and future generation of young Turkmen citizens. They also noted that, within the framework of the youth policy of the President of Turkmenistan, all conditions are created for the education of worthy youth.
In addition, the speakers emphasized the importance of the legacy of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, whose 300th birthday is celebrated this year. His work has become part of the world cultural heritage.
During the event, information was also given about the city of Anau, which was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world for 2024 by the decision of the TURKSOY organization.
