Turkmenistan firmly supports the “one China” principle and affirms that the PRC government is the only legitimate government representing all of China.
This statement was released to the media by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The message emphasizes that the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan is carried out in strict accordance with the norms of international law.
“In this regard, based on the Charter of the United Nations, one of the basic principles of which is respect for the territorial integrity of states, Turkmenistan firmly supports the “one China” principle and reaffirms that the government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate government representing all of China”, - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan said in a statement.
