The Women’s Union and the Ministry of Communications held a discussion in Ashgabat on the role of women in the family and society

Employees of the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and its subordinate enterprises met with representatives of the Women's Union to discuss women's place in the family and society. The educational meeting, "Women's place in the family and society is important, and women's place in society is important," took place on October 26 in the ministry's conference room. It was jointly organized by the Ministry of Communications and the Central Council of the Women's Union.

Participants were told about Turkmenistan’s achievements, its international standing, and its dynamic development. The primary focus was on national traditions and customs, the upbringing of the younger generation, and the enduring strength of family values.

Also taking part in the meeting were a teacher from an Ashgabat kindergarten representing the Women’s Union, a research fellow from the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, and staff from the Ministry of Communications and its subordinate enterprises.
