At the International Investment Forum of Turkmenistan (TIF-2024), held on September 10-11 in Ashgabat, representatives of the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency concluded a number of important agreements and held negotiations with foreign partners. The forum became a platform for discussing investment projects and developing international cooperation in the field of telecommunications and digital technologies, a Turkmenportal correspondent reports.
During the event, agency representatives made a presentation on the need to improve the digital economy and implement innovative technologies. Particular attention was paid to the importance of adapting the legislative framework to international standards in the field of information technology.
A significant result of the forum was the signing of agreements on mutual understanding and cooperation. In particular, the postal company “Turkmenpost” signed an agreement with the Kyrgyz OJSC “Kyrgyz Pochtasy”, and the economic society “Turkmendomen” - with the company “European networks OÜ”.
In addition, representatives of the telecommunications sector of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral meetings with leading foreign companies. At these meetings, prospects for exchanging experience and developing cooperation in the field of using the latest information and digital technologies were discussed.
The International Investment Forum of Turkmenistan has confirmed its status as an important platform for the development of innovative and high-tech areas in the region, contributing to the strengthening of international ties in the field of telecommunications and digitalization.
