The "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" Agency, together with young specialists from the Sanly Chozgut — IT Meydancha business association, has developed and launched a new electronic service on the official website mincom.gov.tm. The system allows individuals and legal entities to submit applications electronically to obtain permits for the import of radio-electronic equipment into Turkmenistan, including mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers and other equipment.
The new service is integrated with the "Single Window" system of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and is available in Russian and English. Electronic applications and permits contain codes for radio electronic equipment and high-frequency equipment in accordance with the nomenclature of foreign economic activity.
Currently, the Agency has created and is actively operating an information technology base that accepts applications exclusively through the official website. All permits issued by the "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" Agency are transmitted to the State Customs Service through a digital system over an internal IP network.
The created information base contains complete data on imported radio-electronic equipment, including permits, customs documents, brands and models of devices, their quantity, factory and IMEI numbers of each device.
These innovations are being implemented within the framework of the policy of the President of Turkmenistan on the development of the digital economy, the introduction of advanced methods, the expansion of digital and electronic services, and increasing their resilience to cyber threats.
