The head of the foreign policy department of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held negotiations in Ashgabat with the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Leonov, who heads the delegation of the Russian region, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

During the conversation, the parties discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of sports. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for joint participation and holding major international sporting events.
