The Kazakh Manuscript Center is ready to participate in events in honor of the anniversary of Magtymguly

Ambassador Batyr Rejepov met with the director of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books of the Committee for Archives and Document Management of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, Zhandas Boldykov, reports the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in the republic.

During the conversation, the main topic of which was the widespread celebration of the 300th anniversary of the literary classic Magtymguly Fragi, the Turkmen diplomat voiced a proposal to hold a cultural and creative event with the participation of Turkmen and Kazakh orientalists in the third decade of this year. In turn, the Kazakh side expressed its readiness for joint events.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed the emerging opportunities for specialized structures of the two countries to conduct research activities, establish relations for the study of various ancient manuscripts and writings, and also considered the organization of joint events,” the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan reports on its website.
